I love this ballet more than any other ballet I have ever seen because, it is a great story of Alice, fantasy full and fun which I love (it's very meee), the best ballet score I have ever heard.  Beautiful costumes and scenery! And astounding modern and classic choreography all jumbled up in a strangely aesthetically pleasing way thanks to Mr. Weeldon! <3 He just always seems to impress me and leave me breathless with his work! God I love him!  The colors and funniness of the ballet is wonderful! It truly looks like a wonderland.  ( I love the Queen Of Hearts Too)!!! Her dance is the best! I am safe and sound in the US... but unfortunately I have come down with a horrid cold!  I had it on the plane and it made my ears clog up so much! They are still clogged!!!! It is crazy!  I HATE being sick!

My grandma is in the hospital, today she had a stroke, I came into the kitchen and she couldnt talk...
she was just mumbling things I couldnt understand.  I called the ambulance and was in the hospital for four hours with her today.  I am worried about her but they are taking care of her.

Today is such good timing for Ballet Wednesday because today when I logged onto the computer I saw the pretty little google sign animated in memory of Martha Graham.  Today is the day Martha Graham was born.  A legendary Choreographer as well as dancer.  So for her birthday this ballet Wednesday is for her.    She had an astounding impact in the dance world and brought whole new meanings to the forms of modern dance.

Ballet Wednesday #11

La danse - Le ballet de l'Opéra de Paris

Yesterday I watched this amazing documentary about the Paris Opera Ballet.  I had been meaning to see it forever now! And it was playing on tv.  I loved seeing all of the different choreography and peices they worked on in the film. 
All you dancers out their if you havn't seen it yet I would suggest you do! And people who aren't dancers but can appreciate the art of ballet and morden comtemporary ballet should watch it as well!

I definitly got goosbumps during on the the last dances.  This woman is dancing on stage with two children also on stage sitting in front of her.  She danced with such feeling, and then in the end she picks up a bucked and the kids stand up and she starts throwing red liquidy paint stuff at them.  They lay their on the floor with buckets on their heads, dead, and she moves, lost in a world of her own.
